One of our banking clients is seeking two Application Support Developers to provide hands-on support and development expertise across both in-house and vendor applications. The primary focus of this role is application support, identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure stability and performance of critical Capital Markets systems.

While the involvement team can identify issues, they lack the technical depth to troubleshoot and resolve them. These developers will bridge that gap by leveraging their ability to analyze code, diagnose problems, and implement fixes.

The role requires a strong foundation in Go Language (Golang) with proven troubleshooting skills and the ability to apply development expertise directly to production support needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage incident tickets and provide Level 2/3 application support.
-
Investigate and resolve issues in both in-house and vendor applications.
-
Perform code analysis and debugging to identify and fix problems.
-
Develop enhancements and fixes for Line of Service (LOS) applications.
-
Collaborate with business users, vendors, and internal teams to ensure system stability and performance.

Provide hands-on support for Capital Markets applications, ensuring compliance with operational standards.
Required Skill & Experience:

5+ years of combined experience in application support and development.

Strong hands-on expertise with Go Language (Golang)

Solid troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Experience supporting and developing both in-house and vendor applications.

Exposure to Capital Markets environments.
Nice-to-Have Skills:

Experience with SQL and relational databases.

Experience with C/C++ would be great

Background in banking applications and Capital Markets.

Familiarity with Base24, Sognex, and Tango platforms
