Position Details:
Title: Events Marketing Manager
Duration: 9 Months + (Possible Extension/ CTH)
Location: (Hybrid, 3 day a week) Boston, MA
Description:
- Seeking for Events Marketing Manager
- At least 2-3 years of experience to begin with. Strong Interpersonal Skills
- This position is hybrid. Expected to be onsite in the Boston office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week (3 day in a week)
- Need someone to help 3rd Party Events Sponsorship
- Experience in managing corporate events is going to be helpful
- Have 40+ conference meetings in place for the year 2023 (no travel required)
- Need help with logistics, Vendor Management, to check with the set-ups etc.
- May require help in the future with respect to Marketing Strategy
- Will work closely with Marketing Manager , 3rd party vendors, interactions with Sales Team
- Help maintain project plan, manage 3rd party sponsorship
- Help troubleshoot issues with any 3rd party vendors and find solutions
- Experience in Financial or Investment Domain is a plus
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Working in a highly collaborative environment, interacting closely with sales and investment teams
- Plan and deliver events to support highly targeted audiences across institutional investors
- Work with and lead relationships with third-party events agencies, to project manage successful events. Includes liaising with third parties and fulfilling all requirements as specified by such parties
- Work with marketing colleagues to produce effective and professional events
Required Skills:
- Previous experience in an event manager role within investment management or within a financial institution (Financial or Investment Domain is a plus)
- The candidate must have the ability to work efficiently and effectively with a high level of activity and changing priorities, particularlythe ability to deliver high quality in a short time frame
- Self-starter with excellent communication skills, both oral and written and an exceptional attention to detail
- Experience of working with and managing third-party supplier / agency relationships
Tech Skills:
- MS Suite, MS Outlook
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Wrike a plus
