The Purpose, Role Definition, and Requirements: The why and what for a Director – Sales and delivery development

The Director  will be responsible for providing vision, strategy development and execution to the company’s sales and delivery function which includes business development, talent management, operations, driving culture, change management, organizational and performance management, developing and implementing best practices, processes and systems, and learning and development. A more detailed list of responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for providing and developing the sales and delivery strategy to meet organizational objectives and goals
  • Responsible for the executing and achieving company’s short- and long term sales and delivery goals
  • Build a world class high performance driven sales and delivery team that embodies the core cultural values of Collabera
  • Create and drive a metrics-based approach toward sales and delivery execution
  • Work closely with Collabera delivery organizations to craft & execute specific sales strategies to penetrate various territories
  • Responsible for training and developing delivery and sales team members
  • Work closely with regional directors, sales managers and delivery leaders to meet various set KRA’s including # of meetings, # of requirements, Conversions, Meetings, Spread etc. on a weekly basis.
  • Regularly evaluate operating procedures and create centralized best practices across the all locations to ensure uniform performance throughout the company
  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality.

 

Role Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10 years regional sales and talent delivery experience with Tier 1 IT staffing companies.
  • Degree from a highly recognized educational institution, advanced degree in business, business administration or related field preferred
  • Strong background in sales and delivery operations and highly metrics driven approach
  • Leadership experience in managing and developing sales and delivery organization
  • Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level clients and partners.
  • People leadership experience, able to connect with GenZ’s
  • Able to effectively manage diverse clients and lead new business development
  • High energy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial & growth-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work collaboratively with peers to create a result driven, team oriented environment
  • Experience with a specific sales methodology, sales funnel management
  • Willingness to travel extensively to the global delivery centers and regional offices
