Title: Installation Technician
Duration: 6 Months CTH
Location: Houston, Tx

Day-to-Day:

  • This person will primarily be responsible for provisioning and configuring event and conference rooms.
  • They would be responsible for knowing the design, reading and interpreting drawings, physical installations with servers and routers, etc.

Tech I Must Haves:

  • Technical (low voltage, wiring, etc.) or construction background 
  • Experience using hand and power tools 
  • Strong sense of professionalism 

Tech II Must Haves:

  • 2-4 years in the AV industry (conference rooms installs)
  • Knowledge of complex wiring configurations and/or signal flow for audio, video, control, network

Tech III Must Haves: 

  • 4-6 years in the AV industry (conference room installs) 
  • Ability to lead site teams on medium to large, more complex projects
  • Minor control system programming changes and troubleshooting capabilities 
  • Valid and current AVIXA CTS General Certification 

Tech IV Must Haves: 

  • 6+ years in the AV industry (conference room installs) 
  • Knowledge of complex wiring configurations and/or signal flow for audio, video, control, network
