Title: Senior Facilities Engineer

Location: Springfield, OH

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and overseeing contracts and service providers for functions such as cleaning, parking, security, and technology
• Advising businesses on measures to improve the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the facility
• Supervise Facilities Engineers
• Ensuring that Facilities are well-maintained and conducting proactive maintenance
• Dealing with emergencies as they arise
• Managing budgets
• Ensuring that facilities meet compliance standards and government regulations
• Planning for the future by forecasting the facility’s upcoming needs and requirements
• Overseeing any renovations, refurbishments and building projects
• Helping with office relocations

Required Skills:

• Update blueprints and plan projects to complete assigned tasks, and coordinate and follow up proper
• execution of assigned work
• Schedule work tasks with Contractors and Maintenance in a team-oriented environment and perform
• initial evaluations of building systems and distribution work assignments
• Evaluate Contractors’ individual performances to ensure quality operations, and investigate any accidents
• caused by Contractors, and prepare relevant reports
• Work with the Maintenance Planners to evaluate needs for all work requests—both scheduled and
• unscheduled—as well as any special projects that arise
• Coordinate and follow up on preventative maintenance on refrigeration units, plumbing, electrical,
• overhead doors, ground, roof, and any other mechanical systems related to the facilities
• Instruct Contractors in how to dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with established OSHA and
