Job Description:

  • Seeking DevOps Container Engineer with 5 to 7 years of overall hands-on working experience, with a minimum 3 to 5 years of practical working experience in building/configuring/supporting container-based software solutions.
  • Experience in all of the following tools is required
  • OpenShift Container Platform
  • Docker Containers
  • Kubernetes
  • Helm Charts
  • Understanding of the Agile methodology
  • Experience using and/or configuring common SDLC tools that support Agile, such as Git/BitBucket, Jenkins, Ansible
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of practical working experience in at least 2 of the following technologies:
    Splunk
  • Dynatrace
  • Unix/Linux shell scripting
  • SQL writing & knowledge of Relational Databases, preferably Oracle Exadata
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for automation and continual process improvement
  • Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience supporting large Data Warehouse applications and exposure to related concepts (ETL, Star Schema, slowly changing dimensions)
  • Experience or familiarity with Apache Airflow
