Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work closely with process engineering to ensure fixturing requirements for shop production completed accurately and timely.
• Check tools and machines for correct operation. Immediately report any quality or malfunction issue to departmental lead.
• Use a wide variety of precision instruments for exacting measurements.
• Layout work and plan operations and perform difficult setups to produce parts to print.
• Align parts and fixturing, select feeds and speeds and operations sequences, grind tools as required to meet specifications of print or material.
• Sharpen and grind tooling as needed.
• Ability to perform experimental work and create machine parts from damaged parts.
• Adhere to all standard operating procedure

Skills and Experience:

• Need experience in programming, working with metals, creating molds, using lathes and mills (cnc based) to create the molds  
• Experience with CNC Programming
• Tool and Dye Maker
• Previous experience with working with Metal
• Experience with grinding/welding
• Strong Assembly Experience

Nice To Have:

• Journeyman Certification (typically from Technical schools)

Hours:

• 1^st shift: 7 AM - 3PM CST
• 2^nd shift: 3 PM - 11PM CST
