Title: Mechanical Engineer

Duration: 7 Months

Location: Onsite, Redmond,WA

Pay Range: $50 to $55/hr with no benefits

We are seeking an experienced candidate for wire harness CAD routing/modeling/drafting.

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITES

• Create 2D manufacturing drawings, schematics, and assembly installation drawings
• Assist with 3D harness routing as needed

A DAY IN THE LIFE

• As a 2D wire harness drafter, you will be working closely with harness engineering team on a daily basis.
• You will assist with the final stages of design and release of harness designs for prototype, test and flight harnesses.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• BSc/MSc in Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or equivalent
• Knowledge of MCAD software 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Experience with wire harnessing design
• Experience in project management
• Strong communication and writing skills

PREFERRED SKILLS

• NX CAD software
• NX routing tools
• CAPITAL harness designer software
• Mechanical stack-up analysis
• Use of engineering project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, or other Agile tools
