Job Summary
• Having good understanding of the workforce management systems like Kronos and point of sale system like Xstore
• This will be hands on role performing the installations & configurations and also trouble shooting the prod issues related to Kronos WFM and Xstore POS
• Creates high-level physical designs for execution of large-scale projects. Ensures that designs deliver business value while complying with Enterprise architecture and technology direction
• Partners with infrastructure SMEs to ensure technical integrity, cost-effectiveness, supportability, and operational readiness of solutions
• Works closely with project managers to ensure accuracy of implementation plans and facilitates delivery of infrastructure solutions
• Collaborate with other AHS and product teams for any of the implementation issues that needs support from other technical teams
• Hands on experience on Kronos and Oracle Applications & Database installations, upgrades and maintenances
• Extensive knowledge and experience with DBMS – Oracle preferred
• Familiarity with network protocols, Internet and Intranet design/usage Knowledge of database theory
• Knowledge of database design
• Knowledge about the RDBMS itself, e.g. Oracle, SQL Server,
• General understanding of distributed computing architectures, e.g. Client/Server, Internet/Intranet, Enterprise
• General understanding of the underlying operating system, e.g. Unix, Linux
• General understanding of storage technologies, memory management, disk arrays, NAS/SAN, networking
• General understanding of routine maintenance, recovery, and handling failover of a Database
• Actively participates in all phases of solution delivery, provides input and reviews project architecture and design documents, test plans, and other deliverables
• Participates in the definition of the project’s environments strategy and support requirements, and helps design complex integrated test environments
• Participates in the definition of non-functional requirements, including availability, disaster recovery, performance, scalability, backups and recovery, archiving, etc. Assists with planning and execution of operational acceptance tests
• Helps to ensure overall integrity and supportability of solutions spanning Client and external infrastructure, including third-party hosting and SaaS providers
• Ensures effective communications and knowledge sharing between project and infrastructure teams
• Maintains post-implementation integrity of design documentation
• Participates in the development, implementation, and communication of architecture and technology roadmaps and strategies. Helps define and ensure effectiveness of Enterprise capabilities
• Participates in the architecture assessment and communications for system retirements and migrations to new platforms.

Skills
• Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with a broad range of infrastructure technologies, best practices, processes, and procedures. Experience with IT Service Management is a plus
• Demonstrated success designing and deploying mission-critical systems in complex multi-platform environments. Experience deploying large-scale software packages or working with hosting and SaaS providers is a plus
• Experience working across all phases of the solution delivery lifecycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, implementation, and support
• Experience establishing, operating, or leveraging Enterprise capabilities or hosting solutions and/or defining infrastructure services, SLAs, and OLAs
• Ability to work effectively at both tactical and strategic levels when designing and evaluating solutions
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across IT disciplines to resolve complex issues and develop innovative solutions
• Strong focus on establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships across the IT organization
• Provide technical support and advice for new solution delivery projects.
• Provide technical input into business unit technology roadmaps.
• Design and implement solutions to enterprise-wide computing.
• Work with vendors to build new capacity and optimize capacity.
• Ensures consistent department priorities, policies, procedures for continuous process improvement.
• Oversees accurate and current standard operating procedures are maintained for area of responsibility.
• Ensures estimates, design and operational support requirements, and technical solutions for projects, are complete and accurate, and delivered in a timely manner.


Minimum Experience Required:
• 8 years of IT experience
• 8 years of Infra Solution Engineering experience
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Five or more years of experience as a Kronos and Oracle applications
• 8+ years of experience on implementing Kronos Workforce and Xstore point of sale system
