Job Title: Procurement Manager
Location: Chicago, IL 60606 Or Port Allen, LA 70767
Duration: 6 months (Possible Extn.)
Pay Range: $45-50/hr
Experience & Expertise:
- Relevant procurement experience (Sourcing, contracting, contract management, commercial negotiation skills.)
- Expertise in Retail procurement is an additional benefit. High level of acumen in merchandise for retail and/or marketing programs.
- Strong performance bias and a passion (energy) to win in ‘Retail’.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for communication and networking at all levels of organization
- Ability to thrive & grow in a continuously evolving environment
- Experience in Ariba e-sourcing or other e-procurement tools is desirable.
- Influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- Project management capabilities, time management and prioritization skills.
- Demonstration of value delivery through a category strategy and/or sourcing project.
