This person will join a new team, providing the team and company with process improvements and taking a big-picture, longer-term approach to technical problems.

By joining this team, this continuous improvement engineer will have the opportunity to provide high-level process improvements, work cross-functionally with a variety of teams and team members, grow a new team within the company, and in time learn the business enough to be able to transition into a variety of other internal roles within.
Day-to-Day:
- Periodically do time studies and make production lines more efficient.
- Work with the design engineering team to ensure designs can be adequately built.
- Help with construction delivery and manage the contractor they've brought on to handle this.
- Put things in the right place, provide redlines, and updates.
- Look at things from a process perspective versus a manufacturing perspective and give input to the team on how to make process improvements.
- Handle and review master data, analyze material movement through the warehouse, pay attention to facility or design layout, and provide efficiency improvements based on their assessment.
- Capital equipment assembly.
- Determine how to apply labor as a resource most efficiently.
Must Haves:
- Industrial Engineering degree (or alternate engineering degree)
- Production assembly equipment experience (will be looking at things from more of a systems level)
- D365 experience (if not D365, then SAP will translate relatively well)
- Ability to think in terms of systems and be interested in solving problems before they become problems.
