Title: Software Architect

Location: 100% Remote

Why is the client hiring?

They are expanding the software architecture team. They are trying to get more architects to be able to design their systems to get more projects completed.

Mission:

As a Solution Architect, you will define web solutions, technical architecture and strategies, with a focus on continuous improvement. You will be doing a lot of defining the solution itself.
The goal is to get a candidate in, go through a training period to gather an understanding of how the client works and then be able to start designing (depending on the project) how the data flows from one group to another, and what system is going to be needed for that.

Technical Skill Set and Experience: (highlight on most important)

Looking for highly technical candidates that have a competency in Java, JavaScript, Typescript, React, NodeJS, Atlassian stack, Gitlab, Jira, Confluence, GraphQL, MySQL
They love to see newer/modern technologies, so they are not limited to these specific techs. (AWS would be a plus)
Looking for 6-8 years of experience.
But keep in mind this is NOT a development role - this is all Architecture!
Work in an Agile environment
Guiding the solution-some hands on. They still need someone to work on the code itself-they still have a code base that manages their separate database.
