Job Title: Drone Operator- Safety Officer

Location: College Station, TX 77845

Duration: 6 Months (Contract to hire)

Pay Rate: $30.87/hr to $31.87/hr

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with crew members, displaying self-drive and responsibility.

Duties include:

• Assisting in crew briefings, mission planning, and field operations.
• Ensuring a safe operational environment, complying with export control laws.
• Adhering to FAA drug and alcohol testing regulations.
• Working in our client operations, aiming for rapid package delivery.

Reason for Request:

• Increased workload and attrition in operations.

Daily Schedule:

• Part of the flight crew, handling aircraft and equipment for operations.
• Performing package delivery tasks, following safety protocols, and creating operation SOPs.

Basic Qualifications:

• Current FAA Part 107 certification is required prior to employment.
• FAA certificate for small unmanned aircraft operations.
• 2+ years of work experience or an associate's degree (non-specific).
• Ability to lift 45 lbs and perform physical tasks with or without accommodation.
• Availability for 40-hour workweeks and up to 25% travel, occasionally up to 2 weeks at a time.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Interest in aviation, independent work capability, strong decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Degree or Certification:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
