Position Details:

Title: Senior Solution Architect/Solution Designer

Contract Duration: 12 months

Location: Toronto, ON 1x a week on Mondays

Start Date: Early Jan 

Interview process: 1 Round with Hiring Manager & Tech Lead

Project Scope:

• The Enterprise Solutions team is looking to provide additional support to the Technology Operations portfolio.
• Anticipating plenty of volume from the networking/infrastructure space.

What will they accomplish on a high level:

• Providing support to various lines on business within the bank.
• Whenever a team requires something from Technology Operations, they will always go through the Enterprise Solution team to get it done.
• Offer services to the Application Development team & the entirety of Technology Operations

Day to Day

• Creating blueprints, road mapping, etc.
• Provide support to different LOB’s when they have design questions, provide assistance when requirements change, etc.
• Coming up with solutions and designs for various teams E.g.: If the network team needs a new connection with a third party or they need to refresh some of their network gear, this individual will meet with them to find requirements, scope out what the design will look like based on the requirements, figure out what the cost will be, bundle solution together, present it back to the requestor and they will make a decision for the project to reach the execution stage.

Must Haves

• 5+ years of experience in architecting or Designing space
• Networking tools: CISCO Routing, Load Balancing, Switches, Firewalls, Network, Understanding of Computing Levels, etc. Majority of time will be spent on the network/infrastructure side, needs to have experience with these tools.
• Windows Operating Systems, Linux
• Collaborative & Good communication
• Will be collaborating with various LOB’s within the bank
