Title: Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist
Location: Houston, TX
Type of opening: Fulltime

• You will be responsible for buying utility materials and services. 
• Identifies and elevates areas of highest risk within the category and leads multi-functional teams to develop actionable risk mitigation strategies. 
• Build strong working relationships with key natural gas utility stakeholders 
• Leverage industry knowledge and technology to establish cost models, identify opportunities for spend leverage, and drive supplier negotiations.

   

Must-Have:

• Needs to see a candidate with true category management, or at the least, heavy sourcing experience.
• Strategic sourcing - Supplier consolidation, RFPs
• Category Management - looking at a category, working with stakeholders on how they want to put a strategy in place, and seeing it all the way through from start to finish - on the category
• Experience with SAP and strong Excel skills.
