Description of Duties:

• Enter, develop, and maintain standard cost data for new and existing materials and ensure accurate inventory valuation by working cross-functionally within the site to cost all-new daily requests in the ECA database. Establish and verify component costs, labor costs, and overhead costs used for inventory valuation and COGS posting.
• Perform BOM analysis and verification as part of our bills of materials and routing review.
• Ensure an annual 100 percent review of bills of materials and routings and enter into the tracking system.
• Ensure all production orders are properly reconciled and recognized in the correct period and investigate and rectify errors or discrepancies.
• Analyze and investigate manufacturing variance accounts (Finished Goods Variance, Material Revaluation, PPV, etc.) and provide explanations.
• Assist with the annual standard cost roll for make and buy materials.
• Assist in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 implementation and maintain internal control documentation and the testing of internal controls.
• Provide backup and support to other accounting staff as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
  
  Required Qualifications:
• Typically requires a University Degree (Finance/Accounting/Business) and a minimum of 2 years prior relevant experience.
• Experience with cost accounting
• Experience in ERP software systems.

Pay range - 32$/hr. to 40$/hr.
