High Level:
  • The team is currently working on decommissioning Cognos 10 and Cognos 11
  • This person will be coming in to perform the upgrade from Cognos 11 to Cognos 12.
Day to Day:
  • Focusing on the Cognos 12 upgrade
  • Building the infrastructure and automating some of the deployment (important to have exposure to pipelines)
  • Collaborating with the Engineer who is currently performing the Cognos 11 upgrade
 
Must Haves:
  • 7+ years of Cognos upgrade experience  (preference for Version 12)
  • Unix (7+ years)
  • Automation
    • Preference for Ansible, 5+ years
  • Good communication/soft skills
    • Need someone who’s collaborative, communicates well & is a team player
