Position Highlights:

Title - Senior Software Engineer - Python/GenAI 

Type- Contract to Hire 

Locaiton - Phoenix, AZ (3 times in office)

Interview rounds - 2 

Day To Day Responsbilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Python and GenAI technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement machine learning models.
• Utilize libraries such as NumPy and Pandas for data manipulation and analysis.
• Develop REST API services and manage version control using Git.
• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases and Big Data technologies like Spark, Hive, and HBase.
• Ensure code quality through continuous integration and testing.
• Contribute to the development of asynchronous reactive microservices, preferably using Vert.x.

Must Have:

• Python Experience: 7-10+ years (any version, most up-to-date preferred)
• GenAI Experience: 7+ years
• Profound understanding of machine learning concepts, including supervised learning, unsupervised learning, reinforcement learning, model evaluation metrics, and common algorithms
• Proficiency in SQL/NoSQL databases
• Extensive experience with Big Data technologies such as Spark, Hive, and HBase
• Expertise in developing REST API services
• Strong proficiency in Git for version control and collaboration
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or related fields

Nice To Have:

• Experience with cloud computing platforms
• Experience with asynchronous reactive microservices using Vert.x
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a Scrum Team environment
