About the Role:
- We are seeking a candidate to provide entry-level intake and administrative services for patients being admitted to the hospital or receiving outpatient services.
- The role involves collecting demographic, insurance, and medical information, scheduling appointments, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Interview patients to gather demographic and insurance information for medical records and billing
Input patient registration details into the computer system and ensure accuracy - Provide accurate information to patients regarding medical procedures, finances, and more - Discuss financial arrangements with patients and their families
- Direct patients to the appropriate locations, arrange transport, answer phone calls, and provide clerical support
Prepare necessary forms, orders, and maintain supply inventory
