About the Role:

We are seeking a candidate to provide entry-level intake and administrative services for patients being admitted to the hospital or receiving outpatient services.
The role involves collecting demographic, insurance, and medical information, scheduling appointments, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.

Responsibilities:

Interview patients to gather demographic and insurance information for medical records and billing
Input patient registration details into the computer system and ensure accuracy
Provide accurate information to patients regarding medical procedures, finances, and more - Discuss financial arrangements with patients and their families
Direct patients to the appropriate locations, arrange transport, answer phone calls, and provide clerical support
Prepare necessary forms, orders, and maintain supply inventory
