- The Technology and Therapeutic Platforms (TTP) group is seeking a contractor to join the Advanced Chemistry Technology (ACT) team.
- We are looking for an individual with a BS in Chemistry (preferably Organic Chemistry) or an MS in Chemistry, who will be involved in multiple chemistry technology development and library production synthesis processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve a high level of productivity in the laboratory by supporting other chemists in library production and processing, as well as managing your own library production runs.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of a wide array of experimental techniques and methods in organic synthesis and data analysis.
- Continuously seek out and acquire knowledge of emerging chemistry technologies.
- Develop a deep understanding of these technologies and master their application within the laboratory setting to enhance research and development processes.
- Leverage available information and technical expertise to effectively address and solve key challenges in chemistry technology, specifically in areas such as library synthesis and data analysis.

Basic Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Chemistry. Demonstrated ability to resolve project hurdles by effectively using available information and technical expertise.
- Evident knowledge in the field of chemistry. A BS in Chemistry with over 2 years of industry experience, or an MS in Chemistry at the introductory level.
- Preferred candidates will have experience with the use of lab automation.
- This includes familiarity with automated laboratory equipment, robotic systems, and software tools designed to streamline and enhance experimental processes, thereby improving efficiency and accuracy in data collection and analysis.
- Previous experience conducting research in a laboratory setting is highly desired.

- Job Responsibilities and Behaviors
- This position is exclusively lab-based, and remote work is not permitted.
- Engaging in activities during working hours is strictly prohibited.
- Laboratory work takes precedence over meetings, except ACT group meetings.
- In addition to running your libraries, if lab requests are minimal, you are expected to assist other ACT chemists with their transfers.
- You will also contribute to other ongoing lab projects as needed.
- Demonstrate a strong willingness to perform your duties effectively.
