Job Title: Business Intelligence Engineer 
Duration: 12 months 
Location: Seattle, WA 98109 (Hybrid) 
Pay rate: $60-$65/hr. 

Job Responsibilities include: 

• Work with stakeholders and customers to understand and document business requirements. 
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions. 
• Drive operational excellence for data ingestion, transformation and publication to ensure data accuracy and timeliness. Adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, validation, and documentation. 
• Triage many possible courses of action in a high-ambiguity environment, making use of both quantitative analysis and business judgment 
• More independent work then collaborative

• Our environment is deadline driven and fast paced and therefore requires detail-oriented individuals comfortable interacting or working with multiple teams (business and technical). 

Must Have: 

• 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, NoSQL etc. Experience. 

• 2+ Experience with data visualization using Quicksight or similar tools. 

• Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines 

• Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling. 

• Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, Glue, and Redshift. 

• Experience in advanced SQL to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets. 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related technical/engineering field Problem Solving Understanding of data engineering 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets Master’s Degree in technical or engineering field
