Job Description:
- Our client is at the forefront of drone delivery services, revolutionizing how goods are transported and delivered.
- As part of our commitment to excellence and safety, we are seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Assistant to support our drone delivery operations.
- This role is critical to the seamless execution of daily operations, encompassing physical tasks, operational support, and community ambassador tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Safely lift, carry, and maneuver equipment, including drone batteries, and related gear, ensuring all components are prepared for daily operations.
- Utilize good visual acuity to serve as a Visual Observer with the ability to identify and respond to obstacles, hazards, or changes in flight conditions during drone operations.
- With strong communication and interpersonal skills, embody the role of a Community Ambassador, fostering positive relations and representing our innovative mission with pride and professionalism in every interaction.
- Demonstrate proficiency in a warehouse setting, engaging in fulfillment operations with an eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring a seamless supply chain, from storage to delivery.
- Adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
Note:
- This position may be subject to Department of Transportation (DOT) drug and alcohol testing if conducting safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA.
- Federal law also requires client to determine an applicant's DOT drug and/or alcohol testing history prior to hiring him/her into a position that would require them to conduct safety sensitive functions as defined by the FAA.
Typical Day in the Role:
- Site is at 7 day's a week – ability to work weekends and holiday's
- Schedule will vary due to 7 day ops but current schedule is 4 day's a week 7:30am-6:30pm.
- Once they accept they will be given their day's but it will include a weekend day's.
- Gaining experience within client environment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Current Part 107 certificate holder
- Availability to work in shift, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Capable of working effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to carry/lift up to 50 lbs., stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in drone industry
- Ability and license to operate a motor vehicle
