About the Role:

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our organization's information systems.
The role involves monitoring, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems.
The Systems Engineer will assess architecture and system limitations, define system specifications, disaster recovery procedures, and evaluate hardware/software compatibility.

Responsibilities:

Assist with Disaster Recovery exercises to our South Carolina datacenter, including planning, setup, configuration, documentation, support, and troubleshooting.
Install, tune, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems relevant to supported applications.
Develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems and support root cause analysis.
Automate the installation and configuration of applications in development and production environments.
Evaluate new systems, research software and related products, and make recommendations for purchasing.
Improve job knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
