About the Role:
- We are seeking a Systems Engineer to ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of our organization's information systems.
- The role involves monitoring, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems.
- The Systems Engineer will assess architecture and system limitations, define system specifications, disaster recovery procedures, and evaluate hardware/software compatibility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Disaster Recovery exercises to our South Carolina datacenter, including planning, setup, configuration, documentation, support, and troubleshooting.
- Install, tune, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain computer systems relevant to supported applications.
- Develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems and support root cause analysis.
- Automate the installation and configuration of applications in development and production environments.
- Evaluate new systems, research software and related products, and make recommendations for purchasing.
- Improve job knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing publications, and participating in professional societies.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
Pay range: $68-71/hr
