About the Role:

• We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team for a 6-month contract (with the possibility of extension).
• In this role, you will support the Gas Compression fleet and ensure its safe, reliable, and resilient operations.
• As a Compression Reliability Engineer, you will act as the subject matter expert for engine, compressor, and unit auxiliary systems, ensuring adherence to design standards and regulatory requirements. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the subject matter expert for engine, compressor, and unit auxiliary systems.
• Ensure equipment and systems are in compliance with reliability metrics and operational standards.
• Coordinate project activities with internal and external engineers, vendors, fabricators, and contractors.
• Perform problem-solving and causal analysis for equipment failures, identifying and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project teams, supporting project managers on both small and large-scale projects.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Projects, and PowerPoint.
  Expertise in AutoCAD.
• Solid understanding of design, construction, and operation of facilities.
• Knowledge of planning and permitting related to discipline-specific design and construction.
• Experience in reviewing designs for compliance with engineering standards and codes.
• Procurement experience related to engineered material, equipment, and professional services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong experience in Gas Compression or similar mechanical systems.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, ensuring project success and compliance with safety and engineering standards.
