Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a production support environment
- Identify opportunities for optimization and automation
- Work with Unix, SQL, Hadoop, Spark, Java, and Python
- Analyze data and code to troubleshoot data quality and integrity issues
- Collaborate with management and lead small efforts
- Bring attention to risks before they become issues
Required Skills:
- Solid Unix skills, including Bash Scripting commands
- Solid SQL language skills
- Hadoop production support experience in a Dev/Ops environment
- Experience with Spark development, optimization, and troubleshooting
- Ability to troubleshoot Hadoop from a production support perspective
- Strong data and code analysis skills
- Decent Java skills (bonus)
- Decent Python skills (bonus)
- Automated testing experience with Cucumber skills (bonus)
