Payrange: $35-$38 hourly

Position Overview:

• Ensure safe, reliable, and resilient operations of the Gas Compression fleet
• Support operations and projects in the Gas Compression area
• Act as subject matter expert for engine, compressor, and unit auxiliary systems
• Ensure adherence to design standards and regulatory compliance

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering and design efforts for:
  • Electrical power systems
  • Lighting
  • Temperature/pressure instruments
  • HVAC
  • Electrical valve actuators
  • SCADA equipment for gas metering and regulation facilities
• Perform product and process research to support project requirements
• Provide technical support during construction and field implementation
• Draft and review technical specifications for project components and systems
• Collaborate with internal departments (Operations, Project Management, Project Controls, Meter Technology)
• Work with external vendors and service providers to manage project scope and deliverables
• Assist in designing and implementing systems, including:
  • Replacements for City Gates or Regulator Stations
  • Full-scale rebuilds and redesigns
• Prepare bid packages and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
• Evaluate contractor proposals and participate in contractor selection processes
• Conduct design and drawing reviews, including presentations to stakeholders
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues during construction and operations

Skills & Experience:

• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Projects, and PowerPoint
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Knowledge of the design, construction, and operation of facilities
• Understanding of planning and permitting processes related to design and construction
• Experience in reviewing designs for compliance with engineering codes, constructability, and industry standards
• Experience in procurement of engineered materials, equipment, and professional services

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from an accredited institution
• 2+ years of relevant experience as an engineer
