Title: Sr Network Engineer

Location: Houston, TX 77002

Schedule: Hybrid 4 onsite : 1 remote

Travel: 25% travel, local/international

Duration: Full-time

Day-to-day:

Conducting daily networking checks of their environment
Monitoring their systems; Meraki dashboards and SolarWinds platforms
Checking their network system ICE and FMC to discover alerts, licensing issues, and see what may be down or malfunctioning
Network deployment, supporting 58-60 locations
Working on various networking projects such as;

Designing network architecture out from start to finish, getting the network up and running to configure internal LAN addressing, and build up layer ½ drawings, interconnecting diagrams
Designing out a site for 1 location across 3 different buildings using SolarWinds for monitoring platforms, FMC firewall management system, Meraki portal

Must-haves:

15+ years of networking experience
10+ years of experience working with Cisco enterprise routing and switching network design
Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE), Cisco next generation firewalls
CCNP certification
SolarWinds and FMC
In-depth experience in Meraki switches
Experience in network design
