Position Details: 

• Industry - Banking and Financial
• Title - Cash Application Specialist
• Duration - 6 months
• Location - Atlanta, GA
• Pay - $23/hour to $27/hour

• Incoming Cash entry application
• To apply lockbox payments
• To apply manual checks in the system and deposit the checks using Remote Deposit Systems
• To apply incoming wires, ACH and EFT
• To post entries into system of records
• Vendor account maintenance: to prepare vendor payment reporting etc.Imaging backup maintenance: to ensure the integrity of document imaging (such as journal entries backup etc.)
• Unapplied Cash application research: to assist in researching open items and outstanding checks in Suspense account
• Ability to communicate across and up the organization and must be able to work independently and is not afraid to make a decision and act on it

Required Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, Intermediate MS Excel knowledge, familiarity with report writing tools, attention to detail, logical research ability, able to work independently, basic accounting knowledge
