Description:
- This position will support a new product development project as a supplier quality engineer.
- The role will be working with new components and raw materials – developing supplier relationships, inspection methods and supplier qualifications.
- This position will require the engineer to work with internal stakeholders to ensure inspections are occurring to meet project timelines.
- The position will review and approve documentation and investigate nonconformances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organization and support of inspection and documentation review
- Technical support for inspectors and inspection activities.
- Support project deliverables including qualification of components.
Key Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability work with cross functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and requirements for documentation reviews
- Experience with inspection activities
- Strong communication experience to support working with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Requirement:
- 2-5 years’ experience minimum in R&D or Quality role c.
- Bachelor level degree in an Engineering Discipline or other Technical Field i. Preferred BS in Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Biomedical Medical (BME) or related science-based discipline.
Pay Range:
- $35-40/Hr
