About the Role:

The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions, administering security technology systems, and advising management on cybersecurity policies.
This role will also involve overseeing security infrastructure, responding to network issues, and implementing automation to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain network security infrastructure
Oversee security infrastructure sustainment and maintenance
Respond to network issues, outages, and change requests
Perform system maintenance on network and security hardware/software
Utilize network monitoring tools to address capacity, performance, and availability issues
Create and implement automation to increase efficiency
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
Provide mentoring for other engineers
Cross train in-house to share knowledge and workload

Education Qualification:

Required Skills:

Demonstrated experience with F5 WAF and/or Illumio Microsegmentation
Expertise in TCP/IP fundamentals, IP sub netting, routing protocols, and network management
Knowledge of WAN connectivity options.

Pay Range: $70 -$80/hr.
