About the Role:
- The Senior Network Security Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing security solutions, administering security technology systems, and advising management on cybersecurity policies.
- This role will also involve overseeing security infrastructure, responding to network issues, and implementing automation to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain network security infrastructure
- Oversee security infrastructure sustainment and maintenance
- Respond to network issues, outages, and change requests
- Perform system maintenance on network and security hardware/software
- Utilize network monitoring tools to address capacity, performance, and availability issues
- Create and implement automation to increase efficiency
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
- Provide mentoring for other engineers
- Cross train in-house to share knowledge and workload
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with F5 WAF and/or Illumio Microsegmentation
- Expertise in TCP/IP fundamentals, IP sub netting, routing protocols, and network management
- Knowledge of WAN connectivity options.
Pay Range: $70 -$80/hr.
