Job Description:  

Client: Banking  

Position: SQL Developer 

Duration:  12 months    

Location: Pano, TX

Payrange: $60-65/hr 

Overview:  

• This SQL Developer will be on the Treasury Technology Team. Ultimately, this group serves as a data storage unit where they have the best practices for handling corporate finance data.  

• This SQL Developer will be meeting with business users in finance and accounting and translating their business needs into a strong database design.  

• They use both SQL Server and Oracle databases, so experience with both is preferred.  

• Since this person will be speaking to financial users, this person needs to be well-versed in corporate accounting and finance jargon. EX: Profit and Loss, Assets and Liabilities, Annuities Trading, etc. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 8-10+ years of SQL Development experience 

• Database Design experience 

• Ideally BOTH SQL Server AND Oracle Database experience, but must have at least one 

• Strong ETL Skills 

• They use an internal tool called DataConnect, but any ETL tool works here 

• Specifically, within: Profit and loss analysis, assets and liabilities, annuities, trading, etc. 

• This person is translating finance/accounting needs into technical database design
