Job Title: Medical Customer Service Representative/ CSR
Location:  Stanford, CA 94305, USA - Onsite Role
Duration: 3 Months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance)
Pay Range: $22/hr - $24/hr (Without any Benefits)
 
Key Responsibilities:
Call Handling & Dispatching:
  • Handle inpatient and outpatient calls for a medical facility.
  • Dispatch plumbers, landscapers, electricians, and AV support for maintenance requests.
  • Route calls between patients, doctors, nurses, and families.
  • Manage emergency and alarm-related dispatches on campus.
Training & Onboarding:
  • First 4 weeks: Observe and take notes. Training from 6 AM - 2:30 PM.
  • Weeks 5-8: Take live calls and complete reports. Training from 7 AM - 3:30 PM.
  • Post-training shifts: Candidates will transition into one of three shifts:
    • Day Shift: 7 AM - 4 PM
    • Swing Shift: 2 PM - 10:30 PM
    • Owl (Night) Shift: Limited availability, typically for tenured employees.
Must-Have Experience:
  • Customer service experience (preferably in a call center, hospital, or university).
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Basic technical proficiency with various software and phone systems.
Preferred Experience:
  • Prior work in a university or medical setting.
  • Security, dispatch, or facilities coordination experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology (ear, nose, throat, oncology, etc.).
