Job Title: Substation Engineer
Type of role: 6-month Contract to Hire
Onsite- 4 days/week
Location: Houston, TX 
Salary:  $60-80k/yr
 
Job Description:
Day to day:
  • Testing breakers and relays
  • Commissioning relays within the EE space   
  • Troubleshooting the field system and commissioning systems
  • Review load readings produced during the commissioning of substation equipment. 
 Requirements:
  • Requires strong knowledge of electrical technologies/Power Energy Systems
  • Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering 
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license or active pursuit of a PE license 
  • Requires a minimum of five years of electric utility or power engineering experience.
