Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Biomedical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the development, testing, and implementation of medical devices, equipment, and biomedical systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including researchers, clinicians, and regulatory specialists, to improve healthcare solutions and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of biomedical devices and systems.
- Conduct research and analysis on biomedical materials, medical imaging, and healthcare technologies.
- Perform routine testing, troubleshooting, and validation of medical equipment.
- Support regulatory and quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and GMP standards.
- Analyze clinical and technical data to assess product performance and safety.
- Assist in the development of technical documentation, including reports, design specifications, and user manuals.
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and healthcare professionals to optimize product design and functionality.
- Participate in field testing, installation, and maintenance of biomedical devices.
- Provide technical support and training for end-users and customers as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of medical device design, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as MATLAB, Python, or R is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Internship or project experience in medical device development, testing, or research.
- Familiarity with biomechanics, biomaterials, or medical imaging technologies.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and risk assessment procedures.
Pay Range: $32/hr. - $40/hr.
