Job Description: Java Web Services Developer

Location: Onsite in addison, TX
Pay Range: $65 - $70/hr

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Java Web Services Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing enterprise-level applications, building web services, and working with front-end and back-end technologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, contributing to all stages of the software development lifecycle, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and refine requirements to develop effective solutions.
• Estimate development efforts and participate in sprint planning.
• Create proof-of-concepts to validate ideas and mitigate technical risks.
• Design, code, and unit test solutions per defined acceptance criteria.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services.
• Collaborate with architects to ensure solutions align with organizational goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development and deployment.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate release activities.
• Ensure compliance with application security standards and best practices.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development (JDK 8+ and Spring framework).
• Strong expertise in web services (REST & SOAP).
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, ReactJS.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle RDBMS and PL/SQL.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Familiarity with application deployment in Linux environments.
• Solid understanding of application security concepts, including OAuth, OIDC, and FIDO protocols.
• Knowledge of cryptographic and PKI concepts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with LDAP integration.
• Familiarity with load balancing, TLS, and system architecture concepts.
• Development experience in OAuth, OIDC, or FIDO protocols.
