Position details:
Title: Graphic Designer
Client's domain: Banking and Finance
Location: Getzville, NY, 14068 - Onsite Position.
Duration: 12 months Contract to hire/possible extension
Shift Hours: 1st Shift 7am to 3:30 pm.
Pay Range: $32 - $34 per hour
About the Role:
- We are looking for a Hybrid Designer who will be responsible for a combination of graphic design and workflow tasks. The role will involve working in a busy 24/7 department that produces live deal, pitch book, and custom design materials for high-profile investment banking transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Produce a variety of marketing materials using MS Office.
- Assist with the production of creative PPT pitch books and offer conceptual and visual solutions
- Trace and produce logos, maps, and illustrations
- Ensure all materials are correctly branded as per company standards
- Liaise with workflow staff and clients to determine deadlines and design requirements
- Complete related admin tasks for accurate work billing and job tracking
- Assist with Intake coordination when required
- Buddy new starters post-training
- Contribute to best production practices through internal initiatives and programs
Education Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Graphic Design with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a corporate environment
Required Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Advanced knowledge of CC Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat Professional)
- Knowledge of MapInfo, Animate, Audition, and Blender is an advantage
- Knowledge of external print processes is desirable
