Job Title: Oracle Developer

Location: Chicago, IL
Pay Range: $60 - $65 per hour 
Duration: 12-month contract with potential extension and conversion

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Developer to join a growing Information Security team focused on Identity and Access Management (IAM). This role involves hands-on development, database optimization, and maintenance for a critical Data Hub system that controls user permissions across enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance Oracle-based data systems within the IAM framework.
• Perform logical and physical database design for Oracle 19C.
• Modify and optimize pre-existing Oracle databases that support identity and access management.
• Conduct query performance analysis and database tuning.
• Manage operational data stores and support database maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide database support as needed.

Must Haves:

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer.
  Strong hands-on experience with Oracle 12C and above (19C preferred).
• Proficiency in PL/SQL development (stored procedures, triggers, functions).
• Expertise in query optimization and database performance tuning.
• Experience with database management tools (e.g., Toad, SQL Developer).
• Knowledge of hints, overloading, and indexing techniques.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Informatica for ETL development.
• Knowledge of Autosys for job scheduling.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting.
