Job Description:
- Analyze and report on the performance of software development workflows and production applications, focusing on key metrics like uptime, response times, error rates, and user experience.
- Monitor production systems, track KPIs such as server health, latency, and transaction volumes, and collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Track and report on security vulnerabilities and compliance, ensuring timely remediation of critical issues and generating detailed reports on patch management.
- Collect and analyze development lifecycle metrics like code quality, sprint velocity, deployment frequency, and post-release performance to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain real-time performance dashboards and regular reports to monitor KPIs such as cycle time, defect rates, and release readiness.
- Identify process inefficiencies in the software development lifecycle and propose data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement, including automation opportunities.
Must Haves:
- Experience with logging solutions (e.g., Splunk)
- Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Experience working in a cloud environment
- Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools (e.g., AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Prometheus)
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Plusses:
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipeline tools (e.g., Jira, Bitbucket, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices related to performance metrics and software quality tools (e.g., code coverage, static code analysis)
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) for reporting and data visualization
