Job Description:  

Client: Banking  

Position: Network Engineer 

Duration:  12 months    

Location: Jersey City 

Payrange: $65-70/hr 

Day to Day:  

• The position will reside in Access/Shared Services Engineering team directly supporting Architecture and Engineering functions for Employee Experience Technology products and solutions 

• Complete SIT testing, document results, develop and write scripts, MOP and low level designs for implementation and configuration of Sonus/Ribbon S-BC, SEcureLogix, Intrado E911 and associated integrations 

• Provide local software and hardware support requiring complex integrated configurations in the areas of; Sonus/Ribbon S-BC (9k, 7k, 2k), SecureLogix, Intrado E911, SIP and Session Management, LAN/WAN, VoIP, with integrations to products such as Avaya, Cisco, and Genesys 

• Present to leadership, create PPT and designs 

Required Skills:  

• 7+ years of in-depth knowledge of carrier/transport and SIP access technologies 

• Specifically within the telecommunication industry 

• Has worked for a carrier directly 

• Mobile networking experience 

• 1-3 years of experience in LAN/WAN networking 

• AWS cloud experience  

• SIP experience 

• S-BC (session border controls) 

• Ribbon (non-negotiable) 

• Must be highly motivated and a self-directed individual 

• Ability to work with technical teams and business teams 

• Project management skills
