Title: Workday Production/Application Support  

Location: Plano, TX, Jersy City, NJ, Chandler, AZ (Hybrid)  

Duration: 12-18 months    

Rate Range: $44-$45/hr 

DayToDay Responsbilities:

  • Provide day-to-day production support for the Workday HCM system, including Core HCM, Compensation, Benefits, Talent Management, and other Workday modules.
  • Monitor Workday integrations with other systems, including Informatica, Autosys, and internal applications.
  • Respond to and resolve Workday-related incidents, escalating to Workday or other internal teams as needed.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting and diagnosis of Workday problems, identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
  • Manage and resolve Workday security access and configuration issues.
  • Collaborate with HR and business users to understand their needs and provide effective support.
  • Work with the Workday vendor and internal IT teams on system updates, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Workday processes, configurations, and integrations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support for critical Workday systems.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding Workday issues, updates, and resolutions.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying areas for optimization and automation within Workday.
  • Manage and track incidents and requests using ITSM tools like Remedy or ServiceNow.
  • Adhere to client policies and procedures, including those related to security and compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of current Workday features, updates, and best practices.
  • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Informatica mappings, workflows, and transformations related to Workday integrations.
  • Monitor Informatica jobs and processes, ensuring data integrity and timely execution.
  • Collaborate with Informatica developers to optimize integration performance.
  • Troubleshoot Informatica related issues and identify root causes.

Must Have:

  • Workday and Workday Production Support is the key required skill here.  There are no other Workday persons on this team.
  • ITSM Remedy and ServiceNow, or any other incident management/Ticketing tool.
