Role: Financial Analyst 

Duration: 4-5 months contract + possibility of extension 

About the Role: 

• We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Cost Basis Team.  

• The role involves handling branch inquiries and update requests from clients, researching and resolving transactional breaks, and ensuring accurate reporting of covered securities and tax lots to the Internal Revenue Service. 

Responsibilities: 

• Process routine transactions according to established procedures 

• Handle branch inquiries and update requests from clients 

• Research and resolve transactional breaks resulting in inaccurate cost basis 

• Ensure accurate reporting of covered securities and tax lots to the IRS 

• Provide quality service and support for internal business partners and external clients 

• Assist with training for less experienced team members 

• Use independence of thought to solve problems, referring complex issues to supervisors 

Education Qualification: 

• Preferably 1 year or more of relevant experience 

• Proficiency with Ms Office, Outlook, Word, and Excel 

• Strong understanding of rules, regulations, policies, and standards 

Required Skill:

This is a hybrid schedule position with 3 day onsite and 2 day remote. Overtime may be required during Tax Season (Jan – Apr).
