Job Description:  

Client: Banking  

Position: Python Developer 

Duration:  12 months    

Location: Jersey City, NJ 

Payrange: $60-65/hr 

Day to Day:  

• Develop and maintain scalable data processing pipelines using Python and PySpark. 

• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. 

• Optimize and troubleshoot existing PySpark applications for performance and scalability. 

• Implement data quality checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity. 

• Work closely with the data architecture team to design and implement data models and storage solutions. 

• Participate in code reviews to maintain high-quality code and ensure adherence to best practices. 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in big data technologies and apply them to improve existing solutions. 

Required Skills:  

• Proven experience as a Python Developer with expertise in PySpark. 

• Strong understanding of distributed computing and big data processing concepts. 

• Experience with Apache Spark and its core components. 

• Proficient in SQL and experience working with relational databases. 

• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions and ETL processes. 

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
