Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Backend Node.js Developer with a strong background in GraphQL to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs that power our applications.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of professional Node.js backend development experience (freelance experience not considered).
  • Strong proficiency in GraphQL, including schema design and API implementation.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Experience with authentication & authorization (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Git and GitHub.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working within an Agile development environment.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
 Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
  • Design and implement GraphQL APIs, ensuring efficiency and security.
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching mechanisms for optimized performance.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define API specifications.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, following best practices.
  • Implement unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability.
  • Monitor and improve application performance and security.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and non-production environments.
  • Utilize GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Contribute effectively within an Agile development environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Apollo Server or other GraphQL frameworks.
  • Understanding of serverless architectures.
  • Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) for event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with performance monitoring tools and security best practices.
