Pay rate: $75 to $80

Job Description:

• Configure, maintain, and enhance Jira Service Management, including automation workflows, field configurations, issue security, permissions, and ProForma/Insight/Assets functionality.
• Develop custom solutions using ScriptRunner (Groovy scripting) and extend Jira functionality through the Plugin SDK and Jira REST APIs.
• Automate administrative tasks, including user, group, role management, and cross-environment configuration promotions.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate upstream and downstream systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
• Follow software development best practices, including SDLC, source control, testing, and documentation.

Must Haves:

• 4+ years of experience with Jira Software/Service Management Data Center Edition.
• Extensive experience with Jira automation, security configurations, and ScriptRunner (Groovy scripting).
• Strong experience using Jira REST APIs and customizing with HTML/JavaScript/CSS.
• Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Plusses:

• Experience integrating Jira with reporting tools.
• Experience developing Jira extensions using Java SDK.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Background in cybersecurity workflows.
• .NET Development and REST API integration experience.
