Job Description:  

Client: Banking  

Position: Java Developer 

Duration:  12 months    

Location: Charlotte, NC 

Payrange: $60-65/hr 

Day to Day: 

• This Java Developer will be on the Strategic Asset Liability Management team. 

• It will be a straight-forward developer position initially working on their Treasury Technology platform.  

• The platform already exists, so this developer will be in charge of general upgrades and enhancements for that platform, and new builds when it comes to adding more features.  

• There also will be a major focus on Rest services development, so this person should have proven success developing REST API’s as well. Overall, the goal is to enhance their platform to make it easier for the business to use and maintain.  

• Additionally, the team will be doing a complete rewrite of their hedging loan + debt legacy application in 2025. This person will have a huge part in that rewrite developing the new application from scratch. 

Must Have: 

• 10+ years as a strong backend Java Developer 

• Should know how backend gives JSON data to front end 

• REST API development experience in at least 2 projects 

• Springboot 

• Must have Capital Markets/ Treasury finance experience 

• EX: Hedging, Derivatives, Options, Futures, Swaps, Interest Rates, Commodities, Syndicated Loans, Loan structuring, debt capital markets, securitization, fixed income trading, investment banking, debt securities
