Key Responsibilities:

• Security Solution Reviews: Evaluate and assess security solutions to ensure compliance with best practices.
• Palo Alto Deployment & Security Architecture: Lead the proper design and implementation of Palo Alto firewalls and related network security technologies.
• Project Leadership: Manage security projects, ensuring smooth execution from design to deployment.
• Application Security Review: Assess active applications for security risks and improvements.
• Scripting & Automation: Develop scripts in Python and PowerShell to automate security monitoring, logging, and system management.
• Security Lifecycle Management: Implement security measures across the system lifecycle, ensuring secure access control and data protection.
• Cloud Security & IAM: Architect cloud security solutions (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP acceptable) with strong IAM (Identity and Access Management) expertise.
• Vulnerability Management: Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities within infrastructure and applications.
• Logging & Monitoring: Establish security monitoring and logging systems to ensure proactive threat detection.

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in security architecture and engineering.
• Strong Palo Alto firewall experience (design & architecture expertise preferred).
• Proficiency with network security tools (Cisco, Ivanti, etc.).
• Cloud security experience (AWS preferred, Azure or GCP acceptable).
• Scripting expertise in Python and PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management).
• Hands-on experience in vulnerability management.
• Kubernetes security knowledge is a plus.
• Experience in logging & monitoring tools.
• Data security expertise to protect sensitive information.
• CISSP certification or equivalent security certifications.
