Job Summary:
- The Business Analyst will support Derivatives and Collateral operations, playing a key role in researching, analyzing, and implementing major initiatives.
- Responsibilities include identifying, documenting, and implementing processing, service, and technical improvements.
- The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects align with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, document, and manage business requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Develop and execute test strategies and plans in consultation with stakeholders
- Identify operational business issues and develop innovative solutions
- Establish relationships with business leaders to determine optimal solutions for complex needs
- Ensure processes and systems comply with regulatory and industry requirements
- Maintain focus as priorities change, aligning with strategic goals
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5-7 years of Business Analysis experience within an Application Management environment in financial services
- In-depth investment business knowledge, particularly in derivatives trading and operations
- Strong understanding of system design, analysis, user acceptance testing, and product improvement methodologies
- Strong communication and influencing skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global setting
Nice-To-Have Skills:
- Proficiency with systems such as Aladdin, Findur, Apex
- Experience in system integrations and implementations
Education:
- University degree in Business, Finance, or Computer Science
- MBA, CFA, FRM, or similar certification is a plus
Personal Attributes:
- Proactive initiative with the ability to recognize needs and act with minimal guidance
