Must Haves:

• 7+ years of experience as a Middleware Admin
• Application configuration and troubleshooting, log monitoring, production troubleshooting
• Jboss 8
• This is the most important requirement. Must have strong experience with JBoss 8
• WAS and IHS (both are app and web servers)
• Red Hat linux servers
• Splunk
• for log monitoring and troubleshooting
• Jira
• production issues

Day to Day:

• Collabera is looking for a Senior Middleware Admin to support a financial enterprise with a major server migration.
• They will join a team of 10-12 to migrate several hundreds of servers from WAS (Webshere application server) to JBoss.
• This will be a major undertaking.
• They will be responsible for end to end Middleware troubleshooting, including setting up all the servers (all built on Red hat linux servers – not cloud),  Appling Jboss, configuring all applications, etc. Not just limited to Jboss.
• They have multiple lower level environments. When they build new servers, tech goes through at least 3 lower level environments before production.Pass to testing.
• They are looking for someone experienced who can be up and running from day one.
