Engineer II, Manufacturing role based in Atlanta, GA

• Description: Experienced engineer to design and develop manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures, enhancing productivity and quality. Supports new product introduction and provides technical solutions. May work in ISO class 5/7 cleanrooms, handling production materials and chemicals.

• Responsibilities:

  • Design/develop manufacturing processes, tooling, fixtures.
  • Evaluate/manage production equipment.
  • Provide production support and process validation.
  • Interface with vendors.
  • Troubleshoot processes/equipment.
  • Utilize statistical tools (Gage R&R, Cp, Cpk, SPC).
  • Use electronic data collection systems.
  • Apply lean manufacturing concepts (Value Stream Mapping, 5S).
  • Write protocols and reports.
  • Generate/modify process documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Implement process improvements and resolve problems.
  • Support company and regulatory requirements.

• Required Skills:

  • Engineering degree (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Biomedical, Manufacturing or related).
  • 3-5 years relevant experience in Semiconductor, MEMS, or Medical Device manufacturing.
  • Experience with wet/dry etch, PVD, sputtering, wire-bonding.
  • Familiarity with wafer alignment, bonding, laser cutting, test equipment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
  • Excellent wafer/device handling skills.

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Solidworks, Minitab, CAD.
  • Experience in a matrixed business environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Pay range:

$40/hr. - $45/hr.
