Day to day :
- Leading a team of 10
- Software ELS-pole that uses that program
- Lead a team to deliver designs, quotes, and drawings for utility structures (e.g., tubular steel poles, arms, and accessories).
- Hire, mentor, coach, and hold teammates accountable.
- Apply and ensure consistent design policies and practices.
- Manage team priorities and set clear expectations.
- Deliver quality work on time with consistent results.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement and business success.
- Make engineering decisions to ensure safe, competitive designs.
- Travel occasionally for customer visits, plant support, and trade shows (once every couple months)
Must haves :
- 8-20 years of experience
- Professional engineer license
